We have a Concurrent Specialty Saturday, March 7th, 2025 in conjunction with Silver Falls Kennel Club.
At the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem, OR.

Great Dane Specialties are truly Special & We need your help!
Getting large numbers of Danes and their owners together is extremely educational, increases networking and fun. Our breed benefits from the sharing of knowledge, experience and ideas and the networking that occurs at Specialties.
Club volunteers work very hard to put on the best Specialties. Throughout the year club volunteers hunt for the highly regarded breeder judges, fill out AKC paperwork, (truly joyful . . . cough), work on fund raising and design/purchase/make trophies and ribbons. We want the event to be truly special for our judges, club members and exhibitors ( two and four legged 
).
If you belong to a Great Dane club that puts on a Specialty, you already know that entry fees don’t cover the cost of a Specialty and clubs rely on the generosity of Great Dane owners and lovers to continue putting on these shows. We at the Willamette Valley Great Dane Club would be thrilled if you would consider making a donation for our Specialty shows.
Because everyone likes to go home with Loot . . .
Everyone likes to win loot - so we have a Specialty Loot Raffle Table. We are raffling off some very fun items - a Basket (or 2) Full of Dog-Related Loot :-), an orthopedic Barker Bed, to name a couple. We are selling sheets of raffle tickets. Each Sheet has 25 tickets all with the same ticket number on them and the cost remains the same as last year - $20. You can purchase sheets of tickets before the show or at the show. Need not be present to win, but you will have to arrange for transport of your loot should you win. Convince your attending friend to bring your loot to you - I've done it a few times 🙂

We have a very Special Donation Drawing this year. When you donate to our Specialty, you will receive tickets for the drawing. The more money you donate, the more Donation drawing tickets you get! Buy for yourself, buy to say Thank You to a friend.
